Senior Marcom Specialist

Cairo, Cairo Governorate, Egypt Marketing Full time

Job responsibilities:

  • Work on the annual Marcom plan in terms of TV & digital campaigns, OLX events, press conferences, activations, sponsorships and CSR.
  • Work on and assist with all marcom activities including and not limited to; OLX events, sponsorship events, on-ground activations, TV & Digital campaigns and CSR.
  • Brainstorm on content for all types of communication material internal and external.
  • Aware and following local, regional and international trends to capitalize on for OLX campaigns.
  • Work alongside our graphic design team to generate content that is both eye catching and engaging.
  • Working together with different teams to come up with content aligned with OLX brand guidelines and ensuring the tone of voice is maintained across all material.
  • Scout suppliers and negotiate, compare and bargain to get the best deals for OLX.
  • Liaise and work with partner agencies and suppliers to ensure that their deliverables meet the OLX standards.

Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field

Skills

  • Impeccable grasp of both Arabic & English languages, including industry-related keywords and expressions.
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and time-management skills including prioritizing, scheduling and adapting when necessary.
  • Agile and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • An eye for details is a must.

DTC MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST (ALLOCATION & TRADING)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with allocations to assure that stores needs are covered by following the Channel Ranges provided by Market CTC Assortment Plan teams, and by providing with the optimal initial volumes to achieve store sales plans
  • Support weekly monitoring of KPIs and assist in the implementation of the in-season replenishment of stocks according to store performance
  • Participate in the preparation of mark-downs for DTC channels as required within given framework and in line with market and global strategy
  • Support flow of stock effectively from regular DTC channels to FO channels to assure product relevance in regular stores, adequate stock clearance and margin optimization
  • Proactively provide relevant in-depth analysis to support buying commitment decisions.
  • Provide fact-based product input and feedback for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Analyze every aspect of best sellers and worst sellers, in season stock cover management and in season reactivity and provide recommendations based on analysis.
  • Action the optimal flow of merchandise incl. fulfilment of product/marketing introduction deadlines/capacity planning.
  • Specialize in merchandising systems and tools and eager to learn new systems to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Store visits as needed and advised by the business, and conduct competitor analysis
  • Assist with product selection and negotiation with suppliers for costing and terms for third party products

Job Description

  • Communication and agreement with field sales force, activation plans, targets and budgets as part of AP, to ensure a clear understanding of the category by the customer team.

Job Requirements

  • 6-8 years’ experience in trade marketing operations, at least 3 years as trade marketing manager)
  • Other relevant experience (1-2 years) in Brand Building or Category Management beneficial.
  • Experience in Customer Marketing.
  • FMCG or Food industries background is a must

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership around best practices and new/emerging concepts in the area of Analytics Platforms & MarTech
  • Lead the tech & tracking relationship with all advertising platforms
  • Drive the definition and implementation of web & app tracking tools such as Adjust, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Responsible for the integrity and quality of web & app tracking to measure performance across Jumia Group.
  • Support online marketing teams by development of accurate dashboards with a unified attribution across platforms
  • Maintenance of Facebook and Google SDK/Pixel and CAPI signals

Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years experience in analytics implementation and development
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Solid knowledge of Facebook, Google Pixel & SDK setup
  • Experience with MMPs integrations and tracking
  • Clear understanding of different attribution models
  • Knowledge of upcoming changes in user privacy and impact on tracking for advertisers
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in Javascript, Python, Sql & BigQuery is a strong plus.
