KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
• Prepare Sales presentations and sales displays
• Develop quotes and proposals
• Develop sales goals for the team and ensur they are met
• Manage and achieve sales targets personally and for the team
• Reporting sales activity and productivity
• Building and maintaining excellent client relationships
• Verbal and written briefing of client requirements
• Oversee new marketing initiatives and plan accordingly

QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-3 years corporate sales Experience.
• Excellent command of English language Skills.
• Strong customer service and sales orientation
• Advanced presentation and negotiation skills

Key Duties

  • Participating in building business relationships with current and potential partners and donors.
  • Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs and studying requests for proposals RFP.
  • Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals.
  • Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks.
  • Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives, outcomes, deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance and evaluation; writing, revising and editing drafts.
  • Improves proposal writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach and coordination; in addition to implementing changes.
  • Participates in attending meetings with partners or donors.
  • Updates the knowledge management component by maintaining the system of gathering and collection wealth of knowledge.
  • Creates a social media plan to communicate with the public through Etijah’s online networks.
  • Updates Etijah’s website on a regular basis to be appealing for the public.
  • Reporting to the Business Development Manager on a regular basis.

 

Skills Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in proposal writing or related experience; knowledge of Business Development process from initiation to close.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential partners and donors.
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented.
  • Able to professionally and confidently communicate with national and international organizations.
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic is a must.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • An interest in marketing, communications, social media.
