Job Description

  • Manage personnel and all employment documentation
  • Ensure employees sign and abide by the company’s code of conduct and NDA
  • Update personnel records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
  • Maintain confidentiality of work-related materials and information
  • Assist in hiring process
  • Responsible for resignation and termination processes
  • Manage audits visits from Social Insurance authorities
  • Keep good relations and communication channels with concerned governmental authorities; this includes the Labor Office and Insurance Authority in order to avoid any penalties that can be imposed on the company
  • Monitor preparing Social Insurance forms (Form 1; Form 2; Form 6)
  • Receive new employees hiring papers and making sure they are complete
  • Create contracts for new employees
  • Responsible for contracts’ renewal
  • Perform the needed regular visits for national organization for social insurance & labor offices whenever needed
  • Monitor and manage the data filing system for all employees
  • Ensure compliance to government legislations and laws

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of Experience in personnel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional command of the English language 
  • Full knowledge of related laws and regulation.
  • Strong documentation skills. 
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent user of MS. Office

Role Purpose:

 

The Senior Manager – HCBP is responsible for managing and driving HC related activities such as organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management and development, total rewards, employee experience and relations compliance, disciplinary and grievance issues for all employees within the assigned business unit. The role holder is also responsible for working with functional leaders, teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build organization and people capability, and shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the business unit.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

HC Strategy and Initiatives

  • Develop and implement HC Strategies for the assigned business unit in line with overall business strategy and business direction, with a focus on attracting, retaining and developing talent
  • Work with various HC Functions drive and deliver key HC initiatives such as performance management and talent reviews, succession planning, talent development, total rewards, employee relations and employee experience
  • Contribute to the implementation of all relevant HC projects initiated HC CoE functions and provide input based on business unit requirements

Organization Design

  • Collaborate with functional leaders on organization design and planning initiatives such as developing organizational structures, operating models, and manpower planning
  • Support in reviewing and approving role profiles to fit role requirements and guidelines
  • Work closely with the Total Rewards team to conduct accurate job evaluations

 

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and lead end-to-end recruitment to attract talent for the assigned business unit
  • Forecast manpower needs and costs within the Business Unit and within the overall budget
  • Conduct HC interviews to support the overall recruitment process, and contribute to the development of fitment sheets and offer letters

Talent Management and Development

  • Ensure implementation of the talent management processes and frameworks containing best practice elements
  • Ensure implementation of controls to help Identify employees with high potential for growth, and support their development
  • Ensure regular reviews are conducted on progress of individuals and leaders’ and development plans and targets to ensure efficient and effective talent development
  • Coach and build the capability of senior managers to contribute to organization effectiveness
  • Deliver training for various HC initiatives in order to ensure business stakeholders are fully aware and empowered for the journey ahead

Policies and Procedures

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to line managers and team members in areas including but not limited to HC policies and procedures, grievance, performance management and performance reviews and remuneration
  • Advise and recommend updates policies and procedures; and ensure that all relevant stakeholders follow and implement the same
  • Developing and implementing effective HC Strategies for the Business Unit
  • Improving overall employee experience and satisfaction
  • Influencing and building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Applying data, metrics and evidence to inform and drive decision making
  • Building and developing a talent pipeline

Personal Characteristics and Required Background:

Minimum Qualifications/education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or Human Capital Management
  • Masters in the same field is preferred
  • Professional HR Certification such as CIPR, SHRM, AHARI is preferred

 

Minimum experience

  • 10+ years in a Human Capital Department
  • 5+ years in retail
